I offer adult therapeutic counselling services.
I provide a warm, confidential space free from judgement for you to explore your thoughts and feelings and gain a deeper awareness into yourself and others. I offer both short and long term therapy depending on your needs. My approach is integrative, meaning I can draw on different therapeutic approaches dependant on the needs of the client.
As a BACP individual member, I adhere to the BACP Code of Ethics, which sets the professional standards and guidelines for ethical practice in counselling.
Life brings many challenges, and it is understandable that at times we might look for support in facing them. As an integrative counsellor based in South Croydon, Surrey, I am here to provide you with a nurturing space and expert guidance as you embark on your journey of self-discovery. My aim is to assist you in navigating life's complexities, enabling you to examine your life and make new, meaningful choices within it.
In my practice, I offer you a confidential and safe environment to reflect on the challenges you face. By engaging with someone outside your immediate circle, we can delve into your experiences and emotions without judgment. Together, we will uncover fresh perspectives and foster a deeper understanding of yourself, ultimately paving the way for positive change.
It's important to note that my therapeutic approach is rooted in integrative counselling, which means I draw from various therapeutic modalities to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. Through this person-centered approach, I aim to cultivate a non-judgmental space where you can enhance your self-awareness and realise your full potential.
Remember, counselling is not about providing quick fixes or offering advice; rather, it's about empowering you to discover your own solutions and make meaningful transformations in your life. You are the expert of your own journey, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
Here are a few of the more common difficulties that can be supported through counselling:
Feelings of stress or anxiety
Panic attacks
Relationship problems
Grief, loss or bereavement
Problems with addiction
Trauma and post-traumatic stress
Depression
Problems with confidence or self-esteem
Anger management
Issues relating to sexuality
Difficulties at work or in retirement
Problems with family or school life
In counselling, you'll find a secure and supportive environment where you can connect with someone who listens with compassion and understanding, free from judgment. Here, thoughts and emotions can be shared openly and confidentially, fostering a sense of safety and trust.
Struggles with relationships, anxiety, panic attacks, or mood swings are common challenges many face daily. Counselling equips us with tools to better understand these issues and guides us towards managing or resolving them. Through counselling, we explore root causes, emotions, and thought patterns, fostering insight and implementing positive changes in our lives. It's a collaborative journey towards healing, growth, and resilience.
Working together I can help you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing, help you understand why you act or react to them the way you do, and see how you can start to make better, heathier choices moving forward.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about how counselling works, or to arrange an initial assessment appointment. This enables us to discuss the reasons you are thinking of coming to counselling, whether it could be helpful for you and whether I am the right therapist to help.
You can also call me on +44 7951 863905 if you would prefer to leave a message or speak to me first. I am happy to discuss any queries or questions you may have prior to arranging an initial appointment. All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours.
